Diabetic medications are very safe

We have been involved in clinical research since 1993 and have be the primary investigator for innumerable research studies. I have noticed over these years that many medications have great potential but because there is such stingent criteria and safety concerns, many research studies are not done because of the enormous cost (1 billion dollars) to get a medication approved. So if one makes it to market it has been researched to death and the chances of major untoward side effects is small. So if you are taking a medication for diabetes and the side effects are none or tolerable, then you should feel secure that this medication can be taken for years safely.
